Many people who watch the show “Outer Banks” have a favorite character. For many people, that character is JJ Maybank, who in the finale of season 4 supposedly died. Many people who watch this show still think he is still alive, even despite the situation he died in. JJ was very tough throughout the entire show and he never gave up on what he wanted. This makes people lean towards the fact that he isn’t really dead. In season 4 he was stabbed by his own biological father for a treasure they were searching for. He was left in pretty bad condition, but fans still feel very strongly that he is alive and well. The season ended on a cliffhanger of them supposedly grieving his death and having a burial. Even after all of this, many fans of this show “know” he is still out there somewhere.

There is also a history of characters surviving really tough and disastrous situations; and this makes the show have some sort of pattern. Many fans hope he comes back next season alive and well.
