Famous rapper/singer Tyler the Creator’s eighth studio album called “CHROMAKOPIA” came out on October 28, 2024. Tyler inspired this album on his experience growing up and learning from his mom, Bonita Smith.
“The album has now turned into taking a whole bunch of stuff my mom told me as a kid.” -Tyler the Creator
Bonita’s voice is featured in some of Tyler’s songs giving advice on situations he could find himself in. I like this album because it was very creative and a beautiful concept bringing a lot of different genres together. CHROMAKOPIA was written only by Tyler but has many guest appearances including, GloRilla, Lil Wayne, Daniel Ceaser, Schoolboy Q, and more.
Tyler the Creator fan, Riggs Lamberta, has shared his opinion about the new album.
“His transitions are amazing (rah tah tah to noid was peak) and really makes all these different kinds of songs (sad and catchy) somehow work so well together” said Lamberta.
The great message that you can get out of this album is that you don’t understand what you’re being told until you start living in it.
“I’m not the guy I was at 20. People are getting older, folks having kids and families. All I’ve got is a new Ferrari, and it feels kind of weird. I’m gaining weight, I’ve got gray hair on my chest. Life is life-ing,” said Tyler the Creator at the Intuit Dome.
Tyler the Creator is truly a talented artist being able to capture emotion in his songs. CHROMAKOPIA is a masterpiece of an album and I can’t wait for the next one.
