Senior Softball Night: A Celebration of Dedication

Santa Rosa Academy’s senior night for the softball team was Wednesday, May 7th. Saying goodbye to the seniors Kadence Bernard, Lisa-Marie Cante, and Madeleine (Goose) Hillyer was hard, but allowed the fans to appreciate them so much more. These players have had such an amazing legacy that we can’t wait to see what their future has in store. These players have assisted our team in being the League Champions for seven years!

This was a special game, to say the least, as they played against San Jacinto Valley Academy. Kadence Bernard (KB) pitched a phenomenal game. She let no runs score, had ten-plus strikeouts, and was a leader with her solo home run in the top of the fourth inning.

Cante started in left field. She had three at-bats and went three for three.

Goose was the starting catcher and did great catching, hard hits were made as well. In the second inning, Santa Rosa had an amazing rally, hitting five home runs.
