Lebron James is a name that is heard thousands of times a day. Lebron James is more than a name, it’s a brand, it’s a way of life.
When the name Lebron James is said, a level of respect is in the air. The only man to ever reach 40,000 points. The only man to ever lead his team to a 3-1 comeback in the NBA finals.
Lebron James is a symbol like Batman, it’s a face that all people can look up to.
Lebron started his NBA career in 2003 where he was the number 1 pick. He was the most hyped player coming out of highschool of all time. He did not disappoint. He came out the gate as a rookie averaging 20 points 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Living up to all expectations even living past those expectations. Lebron became the youngest player to score 1 thousand points all the way up until 40 thousand.
Not to mention Lebron’s overall career success. He is a four time NBA champion who reached the finals 8 years in a row. Lebron is the only 20 time all star in NBA history. He also has 20 NBA selections. Most importantly Lebron has 4 MVP awards. No other player has been as dominant for as long as Lebron James.
When it comes to the GOAT debate there is no argument. It always comes down to Lebron and Jordan. Lebron has more points, rebounds, assists, all stars, all nba’s. A lot of people like to bring up how Jordan has more rings than Lebron, only not to mention only 2 more. That argument goes out the window when Bill Russel has 11 rings and John Havelchic has 8. All and all Lebron James is the greatest player to ever touch a basketball.
