Five years ago, Elon Musk allowed pre-orders on the long-awaited Cybertruck. Over 11,000 Cybertucks have been sold thus far and many significant problems have surfaced from trailer hitches snapping off and totaling the truck, the charger getting stuck in the truck and stranding owners, and the giant windshield wiper failing to work. “I think the cybertruck is a great innovation, and I think Elon is thinking outside the box.” WhistlinDiesel, a YouTube reviewer, said in a recent video.
The Cybertruck is made of high-quality stainless steel, but only for the body. The truck’s frame is made of aluminum, which, compared with steel, is far less durable and strong, which is a big issue. Due to the frame being aluminum, there have been recent incidents in which the frame snapped off, the owner’s trailer broke off, and the truck proceeded to rear-end them. That’s not okay, and Tesla could be facing some significant lawsuits against them because not only is Cybertuck affected, but other people on the road could also be hit.
Cyber Truck owners have an issue with charging. When the cyber trucks come to park and charge, there is a new fear of the charger getting stuck inside the car. This is an issue because the truck has a safety feature that won’t let you drive away while plugged in, so drivers are left stranded. It’s even worse because you would have to call Tesla to save you, and that’s super expensive. You can un-do the charger manually by locating a lever inside the panel. It is hard to get to it, but when you do, it’s a one-time use, and there is still the possibility of getting stuck again.
In conclusion, Tesla’s CyberTruck has super cool features, is quick, and has a very durable body. But all in all, the Tesla Cybertruck has many problems that need to be addressed, so the next time you see a cyber truck towing something, i suggest you get ahead of them. Remember this when buying your truck.
