Peyton Reubelt-Moore is kind, outgoing, and not afraid to be herself. She recently joined the SRA community as a Sophomore.
She says that she had a rough first few weeks not knowing anybody, and overall was just new to the environment. As time progressed, she started to really grow into the environment. She says, “the teachers seem to care more.
They actually check in and let you know what you’re missing.” She also likes that the schedule is only four classes with more time compared to having seven in one day with less time.
Reubelt-Moore explains that the block schedule helps her get her work done and that she has had no difficulty adjusting to school academically. She is interested in cheer and swim, saying that cheer is a fun environment where a person’s personality can come out.
With swimming, she explains how it’s enjoyable and gives her confidence. Reubelt-Moore also likes to sing and draw. She likes to draw realistic art and says that singing “makes her happy.” She says that she doesn’t let the people around her affect who she is. Reubelt-Moore says she knows who she is, and when people try to say otherwise, just don’t listen to them.
To others out there who struggle and let others get in their head, she says, “try to remember peace in your own world.”
