It has been 91 days since President Donald John Trump has taken office and in that short span the President and his administration have enacted a plethora of controversial policies and decisions that are unconstitutional, illegal and immoral. This article functions as a critique of the Trump Administration’s major decisions and actions within the first 100 days of the Trump term. The Trump Administration in my view is guilty of a great many moral crimes as well as legal crimes, so the following is a representation of my best evidence to convince you dear reader as to why you should feel the same and well American Fascism.

Within the first 100 days of the new Trump term, President Trump issued pardons to 1,500 individuals convicted of crimes related to the January 6th Capitol attack. An assault on America itself, you dear reader might ask why January sixth is so significant and why I’m choosing January sixth as my opening for this opinion piece, well for those who need a reminder: Donald John Trump may have directly/Indirectly contributed to the events of January sixth. To kick this off on the infamous date of January sixth at around eight-fifty-seven a.m. when President Trump tweeted, “states want to correct their votes, which they now know were based on irregularities and fraud, plus the corrupt process never received legislative approval. All Mike Pence has to do is send them back to the states, AND WE WIN. Do it, Mike, this is a time for extreme courage!”.

Well let’s back up for a moment what January sixth was. What happened? What is this guy thinking expecting me to have prior knowledge, man I’m worried about these finals! Alright then let me clue you dear reader in. On January Sixth 2021 a large group of an estimated 15 to 20 thousand people gathered at and around the U.S. Capitol to protest the prior Presidential election results in which now President Donald Trump lost to former President Joe Biden. The event was a Trump rally know as the “Save America” rally organized by a non-profit called Women for America, a pro-Trump organization, who had prior to Jan 6th spread lies about the 2020 election being “rigged” as any claims made about the 2020 election being rigged are false are categorically false and untrue, as the American election system has been one of the safest and most accurate as well as fair election systems ever, don’t believe me I got sources. But where am I going with this?

The point I’m trying to make is that the current President directly incited his supporters to assault American democracy and undermine free and fair elections, because he lost the election and simply could not cope. Trump also made calls to the Republican Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find him some votes” and overturn the election as Georgia was a widely debated and contentious state during the election cycle “I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have because we won the state.” directly pressuring officials to alter a free and fair election, literally attempting to rig an election he lost because he as mentioned above couldn’t cope. President Trump then said, “We will never give up, we will never concede” Which was met by applause and cheering. Then at around one-ten p.m. President Trump said, ​​”We fight. We fight like hell and if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore. So let’s walk down Pennsylvania Avenue.”

I’m attempting to illustrate a broader picture of what the President did on January Sixth and after losing the 2020 election outright is domestic terrorism and should be treated. Now with this background knowledge in mind I present the following. At around ten-fifty seven a.m. protesters were beginning to assemble in mass as a large group of proud boys, a white supremacist militia group publicly assembled near the capital. Then at around noon President Trump began his speech around fifteen minutes in and he started urging them to the capital. “Now it is up to congress an egregious assault on our democracy and after this, we’re going to walk down and I’ll be there with you we’re going to walk down, anyone you want but, I think right here we’re going to walk down to the capital and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen” this quote being taken directly from the President’s speech linked here.

Some including myself have argued that statements like this have led to aggression by the protesters and those statements potentially started a riot which should in theory incriminate President Trump for starting a riot. Shortly after the speech, a crowd of protesters was at the steps of the capitol building and then a capital policeman called for backup on his radio according to the BBC, calling for back-up which escalated the situation further.

Then only minutes later another capitol police officially declared this event a riot. While former Vice President Mike Pence is still present at the certification. But minutes later a secret service quickly evacuated then vice president Mike Pence. The rioters then break through the windows and kick in the windows and then a door. The rioters who broke in were wearing almost military gear, “Some wear hoods and helmets, some hold cameras or Confederate flags.” Then seconds later a recess of the session is called after that the following events transpired.

 

On January sixth three rioters were killed, one by stampeding being crushed, the other a heart attack while breaching the capital and finally the last rioter was shot. days and even months later multiple cops killed themselves due to the events of January sixth. With all of this information in mind the Idea that the elected President of the United States could Pardon any of these traitors that attempted to undermine the Peaceful transfer of power so much so that they chanted and created a gallow to hang their very own Vice President, Mike Pence who refused the President’s direct orders to not certify the election. The President of the United States directly incited a riot at the capital that killed multiple of his own supporters and injured many Capitol police and resulted in multiple officers committing suicide due to the severe PTSD, while claiming to be the Republican party that “Back’s the Blue”

Shifting focus to the current day The Trump Administration has also fired 17 Inspector Attorney Generals from various government agencies. For those unaware Inspector Generals are responsible for being independent governing bodies within the government to monitor for various forms of abuse, fraud, misconduct, and other various forms of waste. IG’s (inspector Generals) are typically appointed by the President and need to be confirmed by the Senate. These positions are typically non-partisan and do not change often, if a change occurs the President is required to notify Congress and provide reasoning.

What the President did was an abuse of power having no regard or respect for norms or process. Some of the IG’s fired by the President were investigating Elon Musk’s businesses, Phyllis Fong, the IG at the U.S. The Department of Agriculture was investigating Elon Musk’s company Neuralink, this firing is a conflict of interest between Trump, Musk and Fong. Fong previously served for over 20 years before getting axed. You cannot fire IG’s; the process to remove inspector generals is already established and Trump bypassed it with no checks and balances at all. I wonder earnestly what other countries/leaders fire government officials as well as employees they deem “corrupt” and “unfair” on the basis of “I felt like it” the Trump Administration is full of contradictions and fallacies.

While The topic of conflict of interest perfectly leads into the next topic of discussion being Elon Musk. Elon Musk the richest man in the world’s involvement with the U.S. government is a conflict of interest in, and of itself as Musk is involved in such as Co-Founder and CEO of xAI, CEO and product architect of Tesla, Founder, CEO, and chief engineer of SpaceX, Founder of the Boring Company, X Corp, Co-founder of Neuralink, OpenAI, Zip2, and X.com (part of PayPal), President of the Musk Foundation, and the de-facto leader of the Department of Government Efficiency or D.O.G.E. as it will be referred to going forward. Musk is directly involved in a plethora of companies as well as having an estimated 22 billion dollars in various government contracts according to one source from Fortune linked here.

The idea of Musk being involved in the government in any capacity is a hard one to fathom as mentioned above is a conflict of interest in and of itself. Elon Musk’s current role is that of a “special government employee” when the Trump Administration was asked about Musk’s conflict of interest as the richest man the President himself commenting in a joint interview with Sean Hannity saying “if there’s a conflict, he won’t be involved. I wouldn’t want that, and he won’t want it” Musk adding “I’ll excuse myself if it is” this tiny excerpt is yet again and I know I’m being hyperbolic but a conflict of interest for a situation like this to even arise.

The kicker is Musk has not found any real tangible fraud as the head of the Department of Government Efficiency. More information on D.O.G.E. and the supposed findings can be found here. All that Musk has done is fire over 4,300 government federal employees according to one source linked here. The only supposed fraud in which D.O.G.E. has found the same amount of fraud in which Elon Musk portrays when talking about Tesla having self driving cars.

The only thing D.O.G.E. has done is cut essential Government functions and agencies like U.S. aid, a program in which millions rely on and worst of all programs like Head Start which is a Federally funded program that gives education, health, nutrition, and parent involvement services to low-income children and families. Yet in that same vein the Trump Administration will not be the Department of Defense who can’t pass an audit to save their life or stop giving money to their precious Israel by the tune of 44 billion dollars, real America first agenda.

Getting back on track the idea that a tech billionaire the richest man in the world can simply buy an election by donating 277 million dollars to the Trump administration over-night going from not even related to the administration to being photographed with the current President of the United States overnight. Due to lobbying and the way in which campaigning specifically the way funds are gained by candidates contributes to oligarchy in which those that have money are able to buy their way into the government seemingly overnight which is a scary thought, although no longer being a thought as America is now by definition an oligarchy.

Oligarchy is defined “as a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution.” according to Oxford languages. To put it mildly it is no coincidence that Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Shou Zi Chew, Sundar Pichai, and Apple’s Tim Cook were all present attempting to cozy up to the Trump Administration, to gain favor.

With all of this in mind the descent into fascism besides a tech oligarchy can be seen in the Trump administrations direct continuation and ramping up of the good ol’ American past-time of black-bagging dissidents and poor suspected “criminal illegal aliens” to an El-Salvadoran prison known as CECOT or Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo transporting flights of illegal immigrants to El-Salvador as well as suspected gang members. But you dear reader might ask yet again “how is this guy explaining American Fascism, what even is Fascism how is Trump a fascist my parents and I love him” fine I guess we can do a quick history lesson and take the red pill.

Alright then so what is fascism? Fascism is defined simply as “a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascismo) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition” according to Merriam Webster’s dictionary. The ideology was pioneered and popularized by Benito Mussolini in WW2, Mussolini a dictator who was responsible for the deaths of thousands of political opponents, critics, minorities, and Jews. Now I already know what you’re thinking here “this guy is definitely crazy what is he babbling about” please just stick with me here.

current President of the United States has disregarded checks and balances in it’s entirety deporting U.S. citizens such as a four year old child with Leukemia among three children deported to Honduras on their mothers deportation flight. As Well as Pro-Palestinian activists such as Mahmoud Khalil the former leader of student peaceful anti-genocide protests on the Columbia University campus as a student with no ties to any terrorist groups at all. Mahmoud Khalil has an eight month pregnant wife, a naturalized citizen with a green card. All because he was deemed a “threat to national security” or in actuality Israel first not America first. These anecdotal examples are meant to highlight the mass deportations in which the Trump administration is conducting with no due process or respect to anyone involved, simply deporting those deemed “unwanted” or “enemies of the state” in a twisted sense.

All while a reported 75% of all illegal immigrants deported have no history of a criminal background, having committed no crimes according to one source linked here. I’m attempting to illustrate that the Trump Administration and the President himself are directly fascist in the sense that they are deporting both illegals and American citizens with no respect for due process in the slightest. The Trump administration is testing our current checks and balances systems directly deporting “undesirables”. No wonder professors who study fascism are currently getting out of dodge, dodge being America. President Trump is sending these people to the aforementioned CECOT or Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo transporting flights of illegal immigrants to El-Salvador as well as suspected gang members and others. But how is this legal? Literally paying another country to take prisoners legal or not to a mega prison that no one comes out of, you can fact check me when you go in you don’t leave.

That’s the kicker sending prisoners to another country isn’t legal there is no due process, no checks and balance, no verification that these people are criminals no nothing, just sending people to the country where the President refers to himself as “the world’s coolest dictator” meeting President Trump in the white house where they discussed according to President Trump himself “deporting the homegrowns” The supreme court has directly order the Trump Administration to halt deportations but yet the Trump administration has not capitulated I think the facism stars are aligning.

While the Trump Administration and President Trump himself suppress the media and portray a nationalistic prideful front such as the America first agenda, which is I guess renaming the gulf of Mexico to the gulf of America or something like that. All while directly quoting Hitler all while keeping Mein Kempf Hitler’s own book by his bedside, I wish I was making this up please fact check me here.

The President is suppressing the media as well openly now calling for MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Nicolle Wallace to be ‘Forced to Resign’ as the two hosts have been outspoken critics of the President recently criticizing the President for hosting a young man named DJ Daniels a boy who’s battled with Pediatric cancer criticizing the President hosting him on multiple occasions as nothing more than a publicity stunt. For example Maddow claiming “This was in the midst of him praising DOGE. The DOGE cuts, among other things, have cut off funding for ongoing research into pediatric cancer.” which is true as President Trump and D.O.G.E. have cut research for pediatric cancer.

The current President calling directly for the firing of media personalities that disagree with him sounds pretty fascist in my view. These attacks by the President are not just isolated but two examples of a wider effort to silence vocal critics and control the wider narrative and media look who’s in the White House press room, fringe creators such as Tim Pool a paid Russian propagandist. These tactics are literally seen in every authoritarian regime in history. When examined together the picture comes together.

Whether it is deporting those deemed as terrorists without due process or pardoning insurrectionists, gutting checks and balances, disobeying the courts, distancing from global allies, cozying up with billionaires and fascists. The picture finally comes together. American fascism is finally here ladies and gentlemen. Although that’s the thing fascism doesn’t come quick democracy doesn’t die with a *BANG* but a whimper. We are witnessing the dismantling of our democratic institutions before our very eyes my friends.

When fascism comes to your door it won’t be wearing a swastika, but under the guise of “patriotism” and protecting the “American” way, it’s never outwards, always look within.
