Competing at the level of Master takes great determination, perseverance, and discipline. These three traits listed are exactly what Bryleigh Delis has. Delis has the great feeling of being able to compete in Masters. This competition is different from others so she has adjusted how she trains to fit this specific type of competition.

Delis says she had been working a lot on Conditioning leading up to the tournament. She also believes she needs to stay consistent and not get in her head. She is trying to improve any techniques needed and eat the right foods to be prepared for the competition she is gonna be facing. The people she will be competing with are going to be tough so she joined club and private because of this she has three practices in a week.

Delis says that this is nerve racking because of the opponents she will face but she is excited for what the tournament has to offer her. Preparing for this tournament is not only physical but mental. Bryleigh tells herself “anything is possible there can be mistakes made,” she also tries to focus on herself more than her opponents. Competing in Masters is different from the other wrestling competitions you have to qualify because of this Bryeligh says “she has something to prove.”

Delis says there hasn’t been a difficult game but difficult practices, her coaches are pushing her. She also says that she has learned “life isn’t easy if you want something put in the work.” The pressure of competing in Masters can get to you. Bryleigh handles the pressure by preserving through it when she gets in her head, nervous, or upset. Finally, if Bryliegh could say something to her past self she would say “Don’t mess around as much in practice and don’t take it easy on the younger girls.”
