We underestimate praying. More often than not, “I’m praying/I’m praying for you” is seen as an expression of goodwill, whether you do it or not, the root of prayer is faith in what you are speaking. God still hears your prayers even if it’s not out loud and it doesn’t have to be out loud every time, but we should want to use our voice after realizing the power it holds. Praying isn’t a made up religious thing, we talk to Him because it’s relationship based and guess what, he talks to us too. We should also be praying with faith and hopefully this will encourage your faith even more. “Then God said, let there be light, then there was light.” Genesis 1:3. For the 6 days of creation, God did the same thing every time he wanted to make something, he spoke it into existence. He spoke out and it was done. God created man in his own image, not just in appearance but everything about us. The only difference is we don’t have the same level or amount of power that God has but we are still like him in nature. Meaning, if God speaks to make them reality, we can too through God. On earth, we have the power to speak things into existence but this does not mean manifestation. As I stated before, we have the same qualities of God but we don’t hold the same amount of power in it as he does. Since we are only human, we don’t have the ability to literally create what we pray for. God creates it for us, but we are the ones that have to make the call. Not even just in a spiritual context does this work. What you say shapes the world around you. Your emotions are not based on facts so when you are super pessimistic about a subject, it will always suck. If you change your look on it, it can be really good. You might not be able to change a situation but you can change your attitude which makes all the difference because then you’ll see opportunities instead of obstacles.
