Club Rush, was/is an event hosted yearly by SRA leadership that featured an abundance of clubs being hosted on Friday, September 13th. The event featured such clubs as our very own Journalism Club as well as Music Club, Boardgames Club, Student Venture Club, Debate Club, Leadership Club, Cadet Corps, and Mock Trial. In totality, the event was around 45 minutes long and there was music courtesy of the Student Venture Club, as well as all aforementioned Clubs displaying posters and handing out flyers to students all in the hopes of boosting membership and student engagement. Many clubs such as Journalism, Board Club, and Student Venture had interactive parts of their tables that were displayed or given to students such as shirts, Rubix Cubes, and flyers which were all passed out by clubs to persuade students. All in all, having a great turnout in which the Journalism club collected 30 potential interest applications from people outside of the class. Club Rush was a great event with many different and diverse clubs at our very own Santa Rosa which were able to display themselves on a schoolwide scale.
